What Does The Future Hold For Greyhound Racing? Does it Even Have A Future?

The future of greyhound racing in the U.K. at the moment is looking somewhat bleak with Sky Sports not currently commenting on if they will be renewing their TV coverage after December 2012. Football certainly seems to be taking up most of Sky Sports time with a new contract in place for the new season, what would the loss of Sky Sports coverage mean to the Greyhound Racing?

Dolores Ruth showed again just how strong her Irish derby hand is last night with both Razldazl George and Razldazl Jayfkay winning their second round heats. Razldazl George looks particulay impressive showing that not only does he stay like we saw at Wimbledon, but he can trap as well like he has done in both rounds so far and last night he set the fastest time of this years Irish Derby so far 29:54 seconds!
